I've been publishing this newsletter so long I could do it with one hand tied behind my back. At least I thought I could. Now I have to literally prove it.
Indeed, I find my primary arm (yes, I am left handed) immobilized as the result of surgery to repair bone and tendon damage. And while I cannot claim such an injury would hamper my ability to have a good "take," I do find the limited dexterity an impediment to sharing it with you.
If I had taken my own advice about getting ahead of the story, I would have set expectations ahead of time instead of telling you now why we did not publish yesterday. But let me set expectations moving forward. Although my recovery kept me from my duties yesterday, I am committed to doing my best one-handed act.
So here is my little gesture of transparency. While I cannot guarantee the same level of publishing and responsiveness to your messages, I commit to you something as close to "business as usual" in the upcoming weeks and months . . . and maybe a little something more when I get full use of the left side again. That's my take. Do you agree? What's your take?
