  11/16/06 - On Demand Webcasting
Here's a little known fact for you. CRMAdvocate was the first online entity to offer regular CRM webcasts. At the time, we were the only place where people could learn about the latest and greatest in CRM. Today, of course, there are many more options and that is a good thing.
 
However, sometimes all those webcast options dilute your ability to recognize the webcasts that can be of most benefit to you. It's like having hundreds of channels available on your TV and missing the program that you really want to watch. Hence the development of the DVR (digital video recorder, a.k.a. TiVo). With a DVR you can watch your favorite shows on your timetable.
 
CRMAdvocate brings that "on demand" feature to our webcast program. All our webcasts can be heard and viewed when you are ready. Isn't that how it should be? Avaya announced it has acquired Traverse Networks, a privately held developer of enterprise mobility solutions for unified communications, based in Fremont, Calif.

Software Labs announced the release of xFusion Studio v.3.0, a data management platform for business, industry and governmental agencies. This latest release enhances the data connectivity and reporting features of xFusion in the areas of legacy data migration, data conversion, cleansing, transformation, and integration for SAP, SAP Business One, Sage Software, Microsoft CRM, and Oracle applications.

GMT announced its newest solution, GMT Performance Management, that delivers capabilities that were previously available only to the high-end market and through complicated implementations. Together with the GMT Planet workforce optimization solution, the new offering completes an integrated performance management and analytics system for visibility down to the individual employee level.

Keynote announced the release of Keynote WebEffective 5.0, an enhanced version of its on-demand customer experience/UX solution. WebEffective 5.0 enables Fortune 1000 companies and other e-businesses to examine and improve site effectiveness and online business performance in an array of business areas, including sales effectiveness, brand positioning, customer satisfaction and customer acquisition.

Arnotts has gone live with its Oracle Retail platform to support its corporate expansion plans and the development of its Henry Street store in Dublin.

Parature announced that the company has been honored by the Web Marketing Association (WMA) with an 'Outstanding Website' award in the software industry category during its 10th annual WebAward competition.

MicroStrategy announced that Quixtar has selected MicroStrategy for enhanced enterprise-wide reporting and analysis capabilities.

Verdasys announced that Convergys has signed an enterprise agreement for implementation of Digital Guardian across its operations. The agreement calls for the deployment of Digital Guardian for data protection and information risk management throughout Convergys' U.S. and overseas operations.

Rainmaker Systems announced that the Master Service Agreement with one of its Fortune 50 technology companies, representing 10% of overall business, has been extended through 2010.

Witness announced that the Nasdaq Listing Qualifications Panel (the "Panel") has granted the company's request for continued listing on The Nasdaq Stock Market in a letter dated November 9, 2006.
