Blockade Systems Announces Customer Tool Blockade Systems announced the release of its Identity Management process assessment customer tool (IMpact). IMpact is an analysis tool that provides customizable and granular analysis, identifying savings associated with the implementation of Blockade's Identity Management Suite, ManageID. The analysis, which is based on parameters provided by the customer such as policies, processes, infrastructure, and implementation, is specific to their unique environment. Impact identifies associated ManageID implementation savings and facilitates the customer's financial and business justification process.
Echopass Secures $11 Million in Series C Funding Echopass announced it has closed $11 million in Series C funding led by new investor Advanced Equities (AEI). The Series C round will be used to accelerate growth in three areas: go-to-market programs with key partners including Genesys, salesforce.com, and Sprint; development of enhanced products and services; and creation of new complementary partnerships to serve customer requirements.
Pipkins Offers WebAccess System for Contact Center Agents Pipkins now offers an online, do-it-yourself agent schedule viewing and modification system that reduces schedule-related overhead for contact centers. The WebAccess system frees supervisors of the need to print and distribute agent work schedules, eliminates hours of administrative phone calls every week, and increases agent satisfaction by giving them control over routine scheduling tasks.
Exstream Software Agreement With Blue Turtle Exstream Software announced an agreement with Blue Turtle Technologies of South Africa giving Blue Turtle distribution rights to the company's products in South Africa. Under the terms of the agreement, Blue Turtle will offer Dialogue, WebVerse, AFP Studio, and future Exstream products as part of its solution set for managing the challenges of today's IT infrastructures. Exstream chose Blue Turtle because of their expertise in document output and management, and their proven success in the banking, financial services, insurance and other key markets in South Africa.
Scribe Extends Scribe Insight to Support Saleslogix 6.2 Scribe is notifying their partners and customers that Scribe is continuing to support Saleslogix, and a promotional upgrade to Scribe Insight for SalesLogix is being offered. With the discontinuation of Scribe Migrate in April 2004, the best option for Scribe Migrate customers is to move to the Scribe Insight product for their current and future CRM data requirements, which supports the changes within SalesLogix v.6.2.

If you wonder why 1-800-flowers.com has a name that includes a phone number and a Web site, think of all the channels that the retailer serves. The Westbury, N.Y.-based company first began selling flowers on the streets and subways of New York in 1976. 1-800-flowers.com grew and began accepting orders through a toll-free phone number, the Internet and retail outlets. In fact, the company doesn't just sell flowers anymore. It acquired smaller businesses like Plow & Hearth and The Popcorn Factory.

TechTeam Global Selected By RARE TechTeam Global announced that Atlanta, Georgia-based RARE Hospitality International has renewed its contract for technical support help-desk services for its 248 restaurants, including The Capital Grille, Longhorn Steakhouse, and Bugaboo Creek Steakhouses. As part of the agreement, RARE also replaced its existing help-desk software package with TechTeam's Support Portal.
