Newgen Results announced the launch of GM.Carabunga, a branded, one-stop marketing tool that allows General Motors (GM) automotive dealers to create customized, targeted sales or service promotions online. This "high-tech" tool was created specifically for GM dealers, and allows them to build targeted, "one-to-one" marketing campaigns on-line for service, parts, and accessory promotions, along with new and used vehicle purchase campaigns.

Astea announced the selection of its Astea Alliance CRM suite by The Building Maintenance Company Limited of the United Kingdom. Astea Alliance will enable the company to integrate and elevate automation of its business processes with the latest Web and mobile technologies.

CRM Report Announced
In 2002, the customer relationship management (CRM) applications market actually shrunk 25% from 2001, and major vendors like Siebel and Oracle suffered precipitous declines in license revenues, according to Datamonitor. A new report, Operational CRM: Identifying Niche Opportunities in a Maturing Market, just published by independent market analysts Datamonitor (DTM.L), predicts that by the end of 2005, the market will have barely recovered to 2001 levels. Datamonitor expects many vendors will go to the wall, as the market is too crowded, especially at the high-end and in the most developed countries of North America and Western Europe.

Help Desk Institute (HDI) and Magic Solutions announced a relationship that will provide service and support industry professionals with resources and training. This new relationship aims to allow for an increased level of industry access and services to Magic Solutions' customers, enhancing service and support professional expertise.

SER Extends Capabilities
SER Solutions announced new enhancements to its portfolio of contact center solutions in response to recently announced regulations by the Federal Trade Commission. The new capabilities, featured on the Call Processing System (CPS), Gateway and Centenium XL contact center solutions, provide contact center operators with a solution to comply with regulations related to transmission of caller ID, maximum abandon call rates, and a national "do-not-call" registry.



Rabobank Group With Siebel
