IBM And Clear Technologies Announce Alliance
IBM and Clear Technologies announced an alliance to deliver C2 CRM, a web-based customer loyalty solution that helps organizations better support their customers, partners and employees. The IBM/Clear Technologies solutions will target North American mid-market customers in the wholesale distribution, industrial and services industries. Technology analysts predict the U.S. SMB market alone will spend more than $40 billion on CRM software over the next ten years.



PeopleSoft HR Help Desk Solution
PeopleSoft announced PeopleSoft HelpDesk for Human Resources, an Internet HR service solution to integrate Human Capital Management (HCM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions. The new solution will combine HR specialist productivity tools, and workforce self-service and problem resolution capabilities to enable organizations to resolve employee HR inquiries and issues.

Spanlink Announces Reporting Solutions
Spanlink announced a new reporting solution that can enable enterprise contact centers to incorporate data from any compliant data source on a network, then view, export, modify, schedule and distribute reports about their operations. EagleView is an alternative to the collection of unrelated reports from various contact center components that don't tell the complete story.



J.D. Edwards Unveils Solutions
J.D. Edwards announced the release of the latest version of its eXtended Process Integration (XPI) middleware software, which enables companies to collaborate with multiple suppliers, customers and other valued business partners by linking their disparate systems and applications. Among the enhancements for the latest version of XPI are a dozen new Extended Business Processes and native support for Web Services.



CHM Chooses Cyracle
Cyracle Technologies announced that Computer & Hi-tech Management has selected Cyracle as its partner for bringing online customer support solutions to government clients. CHM will use Cyracle Web Service to provide internal support to its 490 employees spread across 35 locations.



Fujitsu With Astea
Astea announced that Fujitsu Services NV in Belgium has gone live with service management applications of the Astea AllianceEnterprise Suite. Fujitsu is using AllianceEnterprise to manage delivery of IT services.

Vignette announced that the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) has selected Vignette V6 to help it build and manage its Web site, http://www.cancer.ca. Working with Vignette V6 will allow the Canadian Cancer Society to provide information about cancer and support services available in a person's community.



Wavin With Blue Martini
Blue Martini announced that Wavin has selected Blue Martini applications to offer customer service and operational savings. Wavin expects 30% of all customer and partner orders to come through its Blue Martini-powered online channel and expects operational savings from reduced inventory, content and catalog management and distribution. Wavin is using Blue Martini applications to deploy a new product catalog for its 40,000 products, and is also integrating these applications with seven existing ERP systems.
