AMR Research Releases CRM Spending Report For 2002 - 2004 AMR Research (www.amrresearch.com) reported that penetration of companies using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications has reached 43%. With a growing base of mid-market technology providers and expanded products, investment in CRM and e-commerce applications is stretching into slower-to-adopt verticals and Small and Midsize Businesses (SMBs). In addition, the manufacturing industry is taking a serious look at CRM and investing in incremental projects. These companies now account for roughly half of all CRM dollars.
New Version Of mySAP CRM SAP launched the new version of mySAP Customer Relationship Management (mySAP CRM). Extended features of mySAP CRM include new workforce management capabilities for customer interaction centers, a new partner portal, analytics for insight across all customer touch points, improved mobile capabilities, and incentive and commissions management.
Sant Acquires e4 sellingsystems The Sant Corporation announced it has completed its acquisition of e4 sellingsystems, a London-based sales and marketing consulting company. The acquisition aims to strengthen Sant's presence throughout the United Kingdom and Europe and provide better support for their growing base of (international) customers.
IBM And Chordiant Sign Alliance IBM and Chordiant announced they have signed an alliance in which they will offer insurance companies a customer management solution that is designed to provide an insurer a single view of customer data across the enterprise. HP Equips Huntington Bank The Huntington Bank has signed a multi-million dollar, three-year information technology agreement with HP. HP will provide notebooks, desktop PCs and HP ProLiant servers to extend Huntington's technology infrastructure, which supports more than 300 banking offices across a five-state region. This agreement builds upon Huntington's existing $3.5 million investment in Compaq desktop PCs and 8-way ProLiant servers that support its online banking platform and customer service system. more »
