e-talk Launches Professional Services Group
e-talk announced the launch of its new Professional Services Group. Through this offering, e-talk will offer a suite of management services including consulting, systems integration and development support, education and training, and custom report writing to enterprise call center managers and directors.



New Animated Emails Help Sales People Get Noticed
MaraStar Communications has developed a tool to get a salesperson's message noticed. This new product, called SaleZmail, enables business-to-business salespeople to email sales focused animations to their prospects and customers. These animations cover everything from getting a foot in the door to thanking a customer for doing business.



Peregrine Announces Call Optimization
Peregrine announced the availability of a product -- Call Optimization -- for Peregrine's service management solutions, ServiceCenter and Remedy Help Desk. Call Optimization aims to add value to existing service desk installations with automated tools that accelerate the resolution of support requests.



Percepta Signs Agreement With PRIMUS
Percepta has signed an agreement with PRIMUS Financial Services. Percepta is a joint venture between Ford Motor Company and TeleTech Holdings. Percepta will support PRIMUS' U.S. consumer inquiries regarding loan terms, payoff quotes, payment arrangements and account maintenance. In addition, Percepta will handle inquiries from dealers and other automotive financing companies concerning outstanding customer loans and leases.



Terix Selects Encover
Encover announced that Terix Computer Company has selected Encover's ServSmart Application to automate their service contract sales and renewal process. Encover's ServSmart application is a tool to increase sales productivity and contract renewal success. Its internet-based functionality aims to allow remote sales personnel and clients access to client information at headquarters.



Convergys Provides Support For Telesp
Convergys announced that its Atlys solution is supporting wireless voice and data services on Telesp Celular's 2.5G network. Atlys' functionality and flexibility aim to enable Telesp to leverage technology to meet subscriber expectations for new services and flexible pricing plans.



Interact Appoints Tim Fargo
Interact Commerce announced the appointment of Tim Fargo as General Manager of the SalesLogix Division. Reporting to Interact CEO Pat Sullivan, Fargo is responsible for all aspects of the SalesLogix line of products including product development, sales, marketing, channel management and customer and technical support.

AstraZeneca With MicroStrategy
MicroStrategy announced that London-based AstraZeneca is using the MicroStrategy Business Intelligence Platform to anchor its sales prescriber data warehouse (SPW). Approximately 250 employees use MicroStrategy's Web-based analytical tools to determine market share, easily explore cost and profit data, and track the performance of new products.



PeopleSoft Earns Certification
PeopleSoft announced that its North American and European CRM Product Support centers have achieved certification under the Support Center Practices (SCP) program for the third consecutive year.
