Risk Values Announces Approach
Risk Values has developed RV1, a tool to assist financial services businesses in customer identification and Know-your-customer procedures. With no reference to any racial or religious identifier such as name or place of origin, no profiling based on district of residence and no transaction history, RV1 uses a simple series of questions to identify those customers who display a propensity to commit financial crime such as funding terrorism, fraud on the institution or money laundering.

Sunrise Medical Launches BtoB Website
Sunrise Medical announced the launch of its new web site, powered by external customer relationship (eCRM) applications from Blue Martini Software. Sunrise Medical's new personalized site aims to be accessible to both dealers and consumers, providing users with increased functionality and an entirely new online experience that is easier to browse, faster and has more information than previously available on industry web sites.

Lexmark Analyses Using Netmining
Lexmark has chosen Netmining to develop its web monitoring software. To that end, Netmining has developed and implemented their new "Netmining Data Collector" that was engineered in collaboration with Lexmark. The software application has now also been made available. Lexmark draws on the software to collect data with a view to measuring which of its web pages and services are proving most popular and how they can improve these sites further still.

Davox Forges Partnership With Comverse Infosys
Davox announced a co-marketing and integration partnership with Comverse Infosys to jointly promote and sell contact center solutions in the Asia-Pacific region. The alliance between Davox and Comverse Infosys aims to allow both companies to gain new customers and enhance market share throughout Asia-Pacific, especially in the high-growth Australian, Indian and Japanese markets.

Vertex Awarded Contract
Business Process Outsourcing Company Vertex has been awarded a multi-million pound five year contract by Birmingham City Council. Vertex won the contract to provide customer management solutions via a multi-service customer contact centre.

Teradata Wins Contract
China Construction Bank has selected Teradata to build the first enterprise data warehouse in China's banking history. The bank is hoping to accelerate the modernization of China's banking industry and raise competitiveness by adopting Teradata's leading enterprise data warehousing technology.

Avaya To Deliver Presentation
Avaya will deliver a presentation at the third International Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Conference in Paris from January 15 to 18, 2002. SIP is a signaling protocol that is emerging as a favored standard for establishing, routing and modifying and terminating calls over Internet Protocol (IP) networks.

ServiceWare To Announce Strong Preliminary Fourth Quarter Results
ServiceWare announced that the company's revenue for the fourth quarter is expected to be strong at approximately $4.2 Million, roughly double its third quarter 2001 revenue of $2.1 Million.
