Epicor announced that it would offer a line of hosted applications and
services through a new relationship with IBM. The agreement will enable

applications, including e by Epicor, through IBM ASP hosting services.
SpeechWorks
Announces Availability Of VoiceXML Interpreter
SpeechWorks announced the availability of an open source VoiceXML
Interpreter, known as Open VXI, as a reference platform for developers.
SpeechWorks also announced the availability of its speech links
technology, which enables the interconnection of speech services. Open VXI
and speech links are technologies that aim to allow developers to support
browsing and linking capabilities among speech recognition services.
BroadVision
Powers Dixons Stores
BroadVision announced the completion of an e-commerce project that
includes the development of new websites for Currys and The Link divisions
of UK-based consumer electronics retailer Dixons Stores Group. BroadVision
worked closely with Infogain, the e-business integrator, and an in-house
development team from DSG to complete the project.

Standardizes On Aspect
Aspect announced that Pioneer Electronics Service has standardized on the
Aspect Customer Relationship Portal to deliver blended voice and e-mail to
its service agents. Pioneer expects that Aspect solutions will help reduce
overall contact center costs while improving the quality of customer
service.

Medical Security Selects Pivotal
Pivotal announced that American Medical Security Group has selected
Pivotal and Microsoft to power its online solution for health insurance
demand chain management. AMS is implementing the Pivotal Healthcare Demand
