Point Omega Selects Verizon Business to Host Customer Contact-Center Services
German Application-Service Provider Chooses Verizon Business to Support Fast-Growing Client Base
Point Omega, an innovative German application-service provider for call center services, has selected Verizon Business to host its German contact-center operations.
Under a three-year contract, Point Omega's core automatic call distributor (ACD) and interactive voice response (IVR) solutions will be colocated at the Verizon Business Frankfurt Premium Data Center, providing secure and responsive round-the-clock support for Point Omega's fast-growing client base.
Point Omega provides interactive-response and call-center services to many of Germany's leading customer-facing organisations, enabling them to deliver solutions such as instant polling and voting response. To effectively support the business goals of its expanding customer base, the company wanted to optimize performance and maintain operational continuity, while also reducing overall operating costs.
Verizon Colocation Services will provide Point Omega with a secure, flexible, carrier-grade environment with direct access to the Verizon Business global IP network. In addition, Verizon Outbound Voice and Verizon Global Inbound services will deliver cost-effective, fixed-voice communications across the enterprise. All services can be easily scaled to support the company's ongoing growth.
The Verizon Business solution was chosen as the best fit for all of Point Omega's requirements. "Both the Verizon Business proposition and the team were right for us," said Christophe Permantier, CEO at Point Omega. "Performance and global availability were our two critical success factors, and Verizon Business covered both. The team also was able to demonstrate not only great knowledge of the dynamics of our business, but also the know-how and flexibility to develop a solution to support our specific business objectives."
Chris Gesell, director of IT solutions, Verizon Business, added: "As companies move to an all-IP environment, the ability to outsource critical and performance-intensive technologies to a third-party expert is an increasingly crucial business requirement. Our solid experience in managed hosting and colocation services, coupled with our global product and service portfolio, enables us to offer tailored solutions to fully support the objectives of companies such as Point Omega."
