Verint Nextiva Networked Video Solution Receives DHS SAFETY ACT Certification (email this article)

MELVILLE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Verint Systems Inc., a leading provider of analytic software-based solutions for workforce-enterprise optimization and security, today announced that its Nextiva™ networked video solution has been certified by the United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as an anti-terrorism technology. Nextiva received this exclusive certification after meeting the qualifications outlined in the Support Anti-terrorism by Fostering Effective Technologies Act (SAFETY Act) of 2002.

Established as part of the Homeland Security Act of 2002, the SAFETY Act provides incentives for the development and deployment of anti-terrorism technologies. “Receiving SAFETY Act certification for our Nextiva platform marks a prestigious milestone in Verint history,” said Jim Clark, senior vice president and general manager of Verint Video Intelligence Solutions. “This certification validates Verint’s critical role in the fight against terrorism and is further evidence to our government customers that Nextiva meets the highest possible quality standards for securing people, assets and critical infrastructure.”

Verint is one of a small number of companies to pass the stringent standards set forth in the DHS SAFETY Act. As a result of receiving certification, the Nextiva solution has been placed on the DHS Approved Products List for Homeland Security.
