The event, titled “Improving Support Tracking with Web-based Service Desk Automation” will be hosted by University staff and will help attendees discover how web-based support automation can improve business processes for their help desk, customer support, and other tracking projects. The University of Michigan has several servers running UniPress Software’s FootPrints web-based support automation solutions software. Staff will highlight eight projects that they’ve customized to enhance their own business practices and analyses.

Attendees are expected from the university, including representatives from various colleges, departments, campuses, and system libraries. Administrators and staff from other local universities, colleges, and schools have also been invited to attend the event. Attendees can view one-on-one demonstrations from university staff, and attend hourly formal presentations by UniPress Software to learn how they can use FootPrints web-based service desk automation software to optimize their help desk, asset management, change management, and other business process tracking initiatives. The event will run from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
