(Nasdaq: SPRT - News), a leading provider of Real-Time Service Management software, today announced the appointment of three new executives to its sales and global services organizations. The Company has tapped Steven Sovik as vice president enterprise software sales for North America, Frank Kovacs as vice president of strategic software sales worldwide and Jeffrey Jarvis as vice president of global services.

Steven Sovik, Vice President of Enterprise Sales -- North America
Mr. Sovik joins SupportSoft to lead enterprise software sales initiatives throughout North America. Most recently, he served as regional manager, strategic accounts for Siebel Systems. While at Siebel Systems, Sovik achieved numerous honors for his sales achievements. Prior to Siebel Systems, Mr. Sovik spent more than a decade with Oracle Corporation, where he served as regional director and regional manager for the Western territory, focused on the telecommunications and media industries. Sovik started with Oracle as an applications engineer, following five-years of work at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) as a senior consultant.
Frank Kovacs, Vice President of Strategic Software Sales -- Worldwide
Mr. Kovacs joins SupportSoft to develop strategic OEM and ISV partnerships. Most recently, he served as vice president at Portal Software, where he was responsible for the company's IBM strategic alliance. Kovacs has spent over 20 years in sales and business development roles within the information technology industry. Prior to joining Portal Software, he served as vice president of strategic business alliances for EDS PLM Solutions, general manager of sales and marketing for SDRC Asia Pacific and as a general manager for corporate accounts within a division of IBM.
Jeffrey Jarvis, Vice President of Global Services
Mr. Jarvis joins SupportSoft from Core Networks where he served as chief operating officer. Core Networks was recently acquired by SupportSoft (see press release titled: "SupportSoft completes Core Networks Acquisition" released September 3, 2004). Mr. Jarvis will direct SupportSoft's global services organization for all lines of the Company's business. Mr. Jarvis brings more than 20 years of technology industry experience to SupportSoft, including a decade as a software development program manager at IBM. Prior to his work at Core Networks, Mr. Jarvis held executive management roles in software services with COM21 Corporation, NetSchools Corporation, Mosaix, and Sequent Computer Systems.
