PRESS RELEASE: MRM goes global with Orbis Marketing 

Companies are now able to standardise their marketing operations on a global scale without losing the benefits of localised work effort.

Orbis today announced the upcoming release of Orbis Marketing™ 5.0, due in March 2008. Included in this release is Orbis Marketing International, enabling cross-regional marketing departments to standardise their marketing operations across the globe, while allowing country-based marketing departments to operate locally.

“Our belief is that within 5-10 years almost all marketing departments in the world will have adopted MRM software. It is our vision that Orbis will be at the forefront of that trend with Orbis Marketing™ being the MRM solution of choice,” explained Grant Halloran, CEO and Co-founder of Orbis. “To achieve this, we have made a considerable investment in internationalising the software so that any company in the world can have a single MRM solution joining all their marketing departments. Orbis' International clients will thus be able to extract maximum returns on investment through increased visibility and efficiency.”

Clients will be able to deploy Orbis Marketing™ in any region of the world, allowing users to interact with the one system in multiple languages, time zones and currencies. In addition, clients will be able to use their own internal naming conventions throughout the system.

“Many of our clients are standardising marketing across regions, and gaining visibility into their regional and global marketing efforts", said Liam Royes, Global Product Manager. "Full internationalisation of Orbis Marketing will deliver considerable benefits and support our global and regional clients in achieving their goals”.

Orbis Marketing International has been developed to internationally recognised standards. "We have focused on delivering a high quality, high performance outcome for our clients", Mr Royes added. "Clients can even manage their own language translations, and each user can select their preferred language, with no impact on system performance".

Progressively Orbis will be releasing new language packs. Clients, however, will be to create their own translations as needed.
