Longwood Software Announces TagTeam JumpStart Program to Speed Transition to Comprehensive Marketing Asset Management
Maynard, MA ... February 6, 2008 - Longwood Software, developer of the TagTeam (R) marketing materials management system, announces a new JumpStart program for TagTeam. JumpStart is a software and service offering that helps marketers transition content from their current marketing/sales environment to TagTeam in as little as four hours. With JumpStart, Longwood Software simplifies and accelerates the task of transitioning to a comprehensive marketing asset management system. By eliminating the weeks of labor traditionally associated with migrating data and accounts, JumpStart lets marketers benefit immediately from the web-based TagTeam system.
"Companies are outgrowing their first-generation systems for managing and sharing their marketing assets," said Scott Richardson, Longwood Software CEO. "They encounter problems with scalability and accessibility, and can't support their rapidly-evolving marketing/sales operations with homegrown systems. When these companies decide to move to the next level of technology, they don't want to miss a beat in the migration process. With JumpStart, companies with thousands of items in their digital libraries and thousands of users can transition to TagTeam in a matter of hours."
Silicon Graphics, Inc. (SGI) recently transitioned from in-house developed systems to TagTeam using the JumpStart service. Their TagTeam eLibrary users will include SGI employees globally, their ad agency and designers, and resellers.
"A key reason SGI selected TagTeam over other solutions we considered is because it allowed us to migrate not one, but two, in-house applications - an image library and a collateral system containing almost 3,000 items - to one solution quickly and easily," said Sophie Lonsky, Senior Marketing Manager at SGI. "Other reasons we chose TagTeam were its flexibility, multi-file format capability, shopping cart functionality, single sign-on, and multi-audience access. I also like that TagTeam is customizable - it's as simple or as sophisticated as you want it for your users."
The JumpStart program uses a new Auto Import facility for TagTeam that imports content from the customer's intranet, extranet, shared drives, or current asset management system to TagTeam. The Auto Importer feature also cleans data before importing it, and automatically migrates existing user logons to the new system. JumpStart includes professional services from Longwood Software's Customer Care team that encompass project planning, data analysis, configuration, and implementation support.
The JumpStart program is available immediately, and is delivered onsite or via the web, based on customer requirements.
Longwood Software's TagTeam offers electronic fulfillment capabilities, including a searchable database for marketing assets; a visual shopping cart for collecting items for distribution; multiple email delivery modes; and click-through tracking of electronically-fulfilled materials. TagTeam also features customizable Auto Reports and Item Expiration to alert administrators when items are becoming outdated. TagTeam is designed for "out of the box" use, and requires no technical training, IT support, or custom development.
