U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Awards Centergistic Solutions Patent for its CenterStats® System for Managing Real Time Data (email this article)

November 13, 2006 Orange, CA--- Centergistic Solutions (Company Profile, Past Stories, Case Studies) announced today that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has granted patent #US 7,130,812 B1 for their “method and system for managing real time data”, which has been refined and trademarked under the name CenterStats by Centergistic Solutions. The CenterStats filtering architecture has formed the platform for Centergistic’s newest AgentView performance management system, Version 4.0.

“We filed for a patent because we firmly believe that the CenterStats architecture and omni-collector behind our AgentView Performance Management is the strongest and most versatile in today’s information management arena,” said Rama Iyer, Vice President of Technology and CIO for Centergistic.

The CenterStats engine enables front end filtering and profiling of data as collected from a wide range of systems including ACDs, IVRs, various software applications such as WFM and trouble ticket systems and many other diverse sources. Key to CenterStats is its ability to move only critical subsets of data pre-determined to be key to the user and the creation of a sophisticated set of Performance Indicators which can be combined together to form a more meaningful set of metrics to enable front line employees as well as managers to make faster decisions with a more accurate real time set of data.

The engine can collect and combine real time data from virtually any system and create a set of meaningful metrics in a single unified view. We have developed a connector tool kit based on this technology that is gaining in popularity among developers and IT professionals.”

Centergistic’s flagship software solution, AgentView Enterprise, is a real time and historical performance management system, utilizing the newly patented CenterStats collection architecture, which collects and combines key data from any data source in the contact center. AgentView allows the user to create performance indicators that can be published to virtually any system, such as the desktop, plasma, readerboards, TV monitors and to the web for 24 x 7 global access.
