Cincinnati, OH — August 14, 2012 --Vertical Solutions, Inc. (VSI) and Cameo Solutions, Inc. (Cameo) announce they have formed a partnership to develop an integrated communications connector into Cisco Systems Inc.'s Contact Center and Unified Communications products. The Xpress Call Connector will provide users of applications built on VSI's Vertical Services Platform(TM) (VSP(TM)) with easy access to Cisco's Unified Communications Manager (UCM or CallManager) and Cisco's Unified Contact Center Express (UCCX) products.
“Boosting agent or CSR productivity results in meaningful bottom-line dollar savings and enhanced customer service,” says Greg Paulson, Vice President and General Manager of Cameo Solutions. “By allowing VSP application users to remain in the solutions but fully integrated into their Cisco communication or contact center platform, they can reduce overall call-handle time while simultaneously increasing the entire customer experience.”
The VSI Xpress Call Connector will allow VSP app users to access the basics of Cisco call control, and will provide enhanced caller data such as ANI (callerID), DNIS (Dialed Number Information), and IVR-gathered information to better route the caller to an agent who can help them the first time, every time. Xpress Call Connector will work within VSI’s CRM/service management applications VContactCenter™ and VServiceManagement™ as well as within any additional applications built on the company’s Vertical Services Platform (VSP™).
