noHold and Motorola Mobility Team Up to Offer Customer Support Tool for Comcast Subscribers

Milpitas, CA–November 15, 2011 – noHold, Inc., developer of the most interactive and diagnostic Virtual Assistant technology and Confederated Knowledge™, has teamed up with Motorola Mobility, Inc (NYSE: MMI) to develop the Motorola Modem Virtual Assistant which is available to Comcast subscribers now. noHold and Motorola are providing an integrated and effective first-line-of-support to respond to customer inquiries, which allows service providers to improve customer satisfaction and reduce support costs.
Today, the Motorola Modem Virtual Assistant can be used through the AskComcast™ Virtual Assistant at Comcast.com which is made possible through Confederated Knowledge™ (CK). CK is a patented feature that allows one Virtual Assistant to leverage the knowledge of other Virtual Assistants. When third party products or services are not supported, CK works like a live agent and passes the conversation to an alternate Virtual Assistant. The end result is a reduction in customers who escalate to the call center about third party products.
Motorola’s Modem Virtual Assistant reduces the calls at the service center and improves the consumer’s experience by providing quick and efficient answers to commonly recurring problems. As first choice of contact for support, the Motorola Modem Virtual Assistant is a web-based application that works like a live chat. Its unique ability to interact in a diagnostic, conversational mode distinguishes it from search engines and chat-bots which simply respond to keywords. Instead, it works like instant messaging where customers type a question or statement, and after only a few clicks or keystrokes, the system provides specific answers.
"Motorola is pleased to be working with noHold to promote the Motorola Modem Virtual Assistant to Comcast and other customers, to provide an integrated and effective first-line-of-support to respond to customer inquiries," said Mike Laraia, Vice President, Services and Support, Motorola Mobility.
”CK promises consumers the right answers where they want them and on their own terms. To the enterprise, CK offers support across company boarders without incremental effort. We are particularly happy to team up with Motorola to share this vision,” said Diego Ventura, CEO and Founder, noHold, Inc.
Deploying the Motorola Modem Virtual Assistant is simple. If the Service Provider has an existing relationship with noHold, the Motorola Modem Virtual Assistant can be invoked through an existing Virtual Assistant. If not, with only a few lines of code, the portal can be placed on a service provider’s web site rapidly. The Virtual Assistant can also be “skinned” to represent specific brand, color, etc., and integrate with any website. The customer behavior metrics are collected to show where the end user engaged in conversation.
noHold is the acknowledged leader in the Virtual Assistant space, and has been working with Fortune 500 brands since its inception in 1999. To learn more about Confederated Knowledge, InstantSupport™, SalesAdvisor™ or any of noHold’s products and services please visit www.nohold.com.
