The CRMAdvocate Story
RealMarket, which owns CRMAdvocate, was formed in 1995 as a market research firm for an infant CRM market. CRM was new, immature, and continually changing. It became apparent that there was a need for CRM education and information. To fulfill this need we quickly re-directed market research energies to become the ultimate online source of CRM information pertaining to technologies, trends and strategies. For the last decade, CRMAdvocate and RealMarket have pioneered many new initiatives and have supported many industry advancements with contributions to leading publications, conferences, trade shows, initiatives, and boards.
 
Reflecting on the last ten years, we can debate whether CRM has moved from infancy to adolescence or adulthood, but regardless of the answer, the CRM market has definitely matured. Over the years we have welcomed many new sources of good CRM information and many are valued partners. Given the increased volume of email, subscribers continue to have higher expectations for email newsletters that are easy to read and cover an even more comprehensive array of topics and issues.
